I enjoy so many parts of my job as a library media specialist in an elementary. Besides helping students get exciting about reading, I get to help them understand the enormity of technology in their lives and how to be safe online. I also have the opportunity to introduce students to the Maker Movement while participating in the Makerspace. Students are learning science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) and thrive for more every day. These talented Makers take on challenges with a positive attitude and an abundance of ideas to share.

About my class
