The students are inner city students coming from many different cultures. The diversity in my class is amazing. Many of them come from single parent homes and a poverty stricken area of the city. They have though lives outside of the school and by engaging them in well developed lesson plans, I hope to provide them the chance to know they can be anything they want to in life. They do not have to continue the cycle they are in.
