My students who have migrated from a different country are hungry to learn the English language! We begin our days learning with many videos and images that support their learning of new English words in reading, math, social studies, and science. The students learn productively through videos and images that aide their comprehension of new words in the English language. It's important that I expose them to visuals found on the internet associated with what they learn throughout the day. Providing them with more ipads will give them the opportunity to learn in a fun way. My school does their best to get money funded for our school to provide our students with technology however, we are in need of more ipad devices in the classroom. It would be great to give them more access to technology especially to those whose families are trying to become economically established and cannot afford such materials at home.
