The necessities in life...Food. Students lack the essential nutrients in foods when they come to school hungry. The snacks will last for the rest of the school year! This will allow students to be alert and focused on learning. A happy belly serves for a happy mind. When students experience poor nutrition and health practices, it’s harder for them to listen, concentrate and learn. Negativity can often plague children. With motivational items, students will smile within. These amazing fourth graders will start to truly believe in their self-worth through creating a positive mindset. Student's socioeconomic backgrounds have a huge effect on their education. Let’s do something about this disparity!!
