My students range from 5 to 11 yrs old. Some have never been in a school setting before. Most of my students along with autism have ADHD, visual and hearing issues and physical disabilities. They teach me just as much as I teach them everyday. Our program is based in a regular school setting and is in it's first year as an expansion from the main school site. Equipment is minimal and expanding the program is a goal we have for our students so they get the most out of their physical education class. Young students with autism have unlimited energy and for most of my students my class is their only physical outlet for the day so we want to make it the best for them.
