The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be used to increase student learning in a variety of subject areas. Osmo is an award winning system that will change the way students interact with the iPad to have hands-on learning experiences. In our classroom we have already purchased one Osmo system, and in the time we have had it I have watched students thrive. Osmo allows students to explore aspects of Reading, Writing, Science, Math, Art and Technology in fun and exciting ways. The Osmo Genius kit includes the programs; Words, Tangrams, Numbers, Newton, and Masterpiece as well as the base and reflector needed to make the system work. In addition to this we would like to add the Coding program to our set. This will be used get kids excited about the possibilities technology has to offer for their future. The full kit will allow children the opportunity to truly explore learning using both their hands and their minds! By helping us reach our goal in adding this amazing tool to our classroom students will have the chance to experience everything that modern education in a digital world can offer.
