My students are one of a kind. They are very full of energy and their love for learning is one that shines every day. Being a title I school, my students do not have many opportunities at home to be able to utilize technology and use it as a tool to help further their education. Many of my students are fluent in two languages and most English is not their first language. Our school is among a district that is technologically inclined, but often does not have the resources to us it in our classrooms every day. It is clear that my students have a desire to use technology and truly strive to incorporate it into my classroom to both increase student engagement and provide students with the skills they will need in the future going into a technological world. Currently in my classroom, I use the one computer that we have as an incentive and as a resource for them, but it is difficult to meet the technology needs of all students and almost impossible to use it daily with all students.
