My students are low income students who do not have access to a variety of books at home. These books will be added to our class library so they can become life long learners. Reading is a way to open up new amazing worlds to young readers. The books selected are ones my class has asked for and can't wait to read. When kids have the opportunity to choose books at their level and interest then reading becomes a choice not something they "have" to do. I want my students to look forward to the part of the day they can read the books they want to.
