The students at Rio Vista Elementary are amazing. They have the heart and desire to organize a Fitness Club to movitivate our school to get up and move as much as possible. We have students leading movement to get our community jump started in their fitness for life journey. The Fitness club is helping the Physical Education teacher in his goal of getting all students moving as much as possible. Rio Vista is a school that is in the wind tunnel of the Coachella Valley. We regularly have high gusty winds and high temperatures. Our Fitness for Life Club was organized to give students the option of being indoors for physical education classes during bad weather days. Thank you for taking the time to read about our school. We really appreciate donorschoose.org, all the businesses that support us, and the continued parental support of our students.
