The expectations of my kindergarteners have drastically increased over the years. Due to increased standards, we spend much of the day sitting, and I do not feel like my students get to move around enough. I feel like the ability to move around would help them be able to focus more on the lessons being taught. The thing is, that they are five and FULL of energy. This wiggle chair allows them to be seated with the ability to move around. This will help improve their learning, and it will increase their ability to sit longer for instructional time. I believe flexible seating is a must in any classroom, but even more so in a kindergarten classroom.
