My students love technology and they embrace it. Students love hands-on activities and I want to offer them the opportunity to learn something that I absolutely love doing--digital photography! Through photography, I want to help them open up their creative senses and perspectives. Through a photography seminar class with 8th graders, I want to help establish school-based student photographers who will capture the special moments during every school events, assemblies, showcases, and senior class events. These student-captured photos will become the raw materials for 8th grade yearbook, school website, monthly school newsletter, and any other school-based publications.
