Imagine walking onto a campus and learning so much about what is happening there just by reading the banners, posters, and other art pieces hanging in the hallways. That is what happens at our school on a daily basis. Visitors often remark that our school has a positive vibe just by what they read on all of the signs. We aspire to empower every student on our campus to create positive messages to display on the sides of the locker bays, across the width of the hallways, and outside in the student areas that encourage participation, empathy, kindness, and rigor. We do this first by having our student leaders model this effort with their own work, we create clubs for students to join where they can continue to be involved in making positive differences as they advertise their club's activities, and we keep our school community informed of events and service projects. To do this, we need materials. Our markers, paint, and paper are always in high demand and need replenishing year to year.
