Have you every heard of a "flipped" classroom? Google the idea and you'll fall in love with my project! A typical classroom has a teacher at the front of the room while some understand, some are bored and most are confused. If I could provide my lesson as homework, students could learn at their own speed. During class, I could individualize practice on a needs basis. Those that need extra help have me and those that "get it" receive real-world applications. Less time teaching and more time doing. My kiddos need technology at home in order for this to work! Eighty percent of my students do not have access to technology at home for this system to work, and that's where we need your help with funding five Samsung tablets!
