I currently do not have a science center in my Kindergarten classroom. My students need the opportunity to use different science materials and investigate the world around them! With the magnets, my students will be able to discover what's magnetic and what's not. With the Chick Life Cycle Exploration kit, my students will be able to see how a chick develops on the inside of the egg as we incubate chicken eggs and study the life cycle of a chicken. With the Roll and Race activity ramp my students will be able to investigate inclines, forces of motion, and cause and effect. They will be able to use the magnifying glasses to look at specific details of small bugs, x-rays, and other various specimens. Our science center will be a provide so many hands on learning opportunities! The learning possibilities are endless! We will be able to create meaningful opportunities for authentic questions, making predictions, reading, and writing! My students will be engaged in all aspects of learning!
