Please help my Algebra 2 students access graphing calculators for our classwork! One third of my school's student are on the free and reduced lunch program due to family income and so many of my students can't afford a graphing calculator. My students would greatly benefit from gaining familiarity with graphing calculators as they advance on their mathematical journeys. They could also become better prepared for the SAT/ACT if they had the proper equipment. Our math department wants to build a consistent, modern calculator collection so that students can learn mathematics without learning a new calculator based on which teacher they have, or what subject they are in. Calculators can have major differences in key locations, menu options, and even in the formatting of expressions. We want to eliminate the distractions and teach high quality mathematics.
