The students in my classroom are 3 to 5 years old with a wide range of developmental delays. I have three separate classes that meet three days a week for 2 1/2 hours each session. The majority of my students begin with me with little to no verbal communication. Many of them also have sensory processing issues and poor proprioception in their trunks and legs, making it difficult for them to get into and sit in regular classroom chairs.
