Our STEAM Academies have a 6th, 7th and 8th grade classroom, with 30 students in each group. One of our primary goals is to incorporate project based learning, concentrating in content areas of Science, Math and Engineering. As the students complete their projects, an important component is presenting their findings to their peers and other audiences. Their projects include PowerPoints and Prezis, videos and drawings, interviews and hands-on activities. Our large Title I population loves to try new technologies and methods of sharing their learning with their peers.

About my class
