Moving into the new school year, as well as adjusting to a new perspective of learning, I want to be able to be effective and engaging as possible. I work with Magnet Scholar students and always trying to provide them with the best materials and resources that I can come across and find to present in my lessons. Next school year's theme, with the luck of a virus cure, we are centering our lessons around Health and Medical as well as incorporating STEM and STEM. My students will benefit from these hands-on manipulatives as well as seeing real-world connections. I will be collaborating math lessons with a health and medical theme, in order for my students to see the benefits of math in the Health and Medical Fields. For example, I have a PEMDAS (Order of Operations) Activity planned, where students will be surgically operating on different expressions, cardstock paper and the manipulatives will bring my idea to life. My students are my world, please help me bring my lessons to life by supporting my project.
