I am blessed to teach 22 bright-eyed 1st graders. They are eager students but struggle with the daily rigor of reading and writing expectations. I believe that by integrating science and social studies into my reading/writing block, it helps my students stay engaged and interested in the content, while meeting their reading/writing standards. It will also enrich their lives, spark an interest in science and help them become better citizens in society.

About my class

I am blessed to teach 22 bright-eyed 1st graders. They are eager students but struggle with the daily rigor of reading and writing expectations.
