A potential lies within each student, a potential to affect change. Finding reliable sources of current, relevant, and critical reading content will help spark the interest of young minds, in hopes of building a better world. As we move forward with digital learning, we find information through a plethora of formats, some more reliable than others. In this respect, Time For Kids has been a valuable resource in my classroom. As an educator my goal is to find ways to increase student agency, encourage critical thinking skills, and help expand our knowledge of the world we live in. Time For Kids covers a range of topics, making it possible for dynamic conversations. The articles provide an insight of the world my students live in and provide representation of who my student are. This resource is a starting point and a path towards inquiry and learning. I look forward to being a part of it with my students.
