Welcome to our 2nd grade classroom home! If you were to walk into my classroom you would see students busy working in a calm and welcoming environment. I love making a space for students to learn in, feel at home in, and feel valued. A classroom community to me is just like a family. In our classroom we are always kind, always responsible, and always respectful. Reading in the classroom is always exciting for my student because we are able to practice our reading skills in a variety of independent ways to help make students successful. Working with words, reading with buddies, working on writing, listening to reading, reading independently, and instructional guided reading are all things that are done on a daily basis in my classroom. Students love our reading time!
