My students are really loving our Flexible classroom since we’ve adapted it this year. We got rid of our desks and replaced them with tables. Students now keep unfinished work in folders and are placed in their book boxes, which were originally used to house books that children select for independent reading. It has been challenging to keep students organized this way. I believe if we use the mailbox storage system for papers and folders and kept the book boxes for books alone, this may correct the disorganization problem. As for the Zenergy Ball chair, we don’t have one in our classroom yet, and I thought the children would love a new addition to our flexible seating options. Flexible seating has really helped my students stay engaged, and they are really excited to come to school every day. It’s one of the things they often write about when they are writing about what they are grateful for.
