My second grade students are from a wide variety of backgrounds and influences. While one may travel to Disney World every year, another has not stepped foot out of the county. Our school is your typical small town, rural school. We never have enough money, but use what we have to do whatever we can for our students. When someone in the community is struggling, everyone steps in to contribute, whether it is from loss of belongings in a fire, funeral expenses for a loved one, or an illness requiring extensive treatment. The town cares for each other and the school is in many ways the heart of our town.

About my class
