Comprehension is getting meaning from reading. These books will allow me to address numerous comprehension skills. We will focus on all story elements: who, what, when, where, and why. Students will be able to practice story retelling with a beginning, middle and end. They will focus on finding the problems and solutions in the text. These books will be used in guided lessons to ensure all students have an understanding of the text we are reading. With these books, my students will be able to learn reading skills through a variety of genres!
