iPads will give students use of websites such as ABCmouse, YouTube, and Starfall, which are all great learning websites for students to grow and begin to enjoy learning. I hope to use iPads during center time activities and for individual growth. By adding these I hope that certain students will be able to learn with fun learning games found only on the iPad for students to sit and grab their attention. I need to find alternative ways instead of books for special education students to love learning and one way is by using iPads. The more iPads I have, the more individualized and specific the learning can be modified for an individual student. I really need these iPads to individualize learning for center activities to my autistic students in the classroom. The laptop will help me be able to work at any point in the room. My overhead projector is just not enough; we move from room to room and two iPads would be ideal to carry and use throughout the building.
