Our high school is an urban school in Tampa Florida that faces many challenges that have prevented it from maintaining a laboratory program. Some of those challenges include high poverty and limited resources, high teacher turnover (in the past), and decaying infrastructure. Our student population is full of life and curiosity, and they need a better functioning chemistry lab to explore the concepts that they learn in class.
