The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." There is an empty spot on our carpet waiting to welcome the easel that we will use during reading and writing workshop. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The easel and dry erase markers and sharpies will be used during our reading and writing mini lessons. The bulletin board strips, adhesive dots and chalkboard design letters will be used to create our interactive word wall. The dry erase pockets will be used to create individual sight word charts for my students. In first grade our students bookshop for books to read in the classroom and also to take home. The book buddy bags will support these young, avid readers in keeping their books organized.
