My students have wide ranging diversity, honor students to special needs, great socioeconomic range, quiet to ADHD. The common denominator is music. They are anxious and enthusiastic to learn a wide variety of music and especially love when we can add actions, clapping, etc. It is exciting to watch them as they begin to understand harmonies, etc. and when a song clicks they are so excited and feel such a sense of accomplishment.
