My students are the most excited, joyful, and curious learners I have ever met! They love to discover new things, they love to open a book and read, and make up stories and write letters to anyone they meet or helped them in some way. My students are from a Title I school where many of them do not know when their next meal would be. My students come to school in multiple shirts because their family can not afford a jacket to keep them warm. But, even with all the challenges of life, my students come to class every day prepared, and excited to learn. They try their hardest even though their stomachs may be rumbling, or they may have slept on someone's couch the night before. My students want to learn, they need to learn, and it is my job as their educator to do anything to make sure they have all the opportunities possible to get the most out of school and life.
