Welcome! I have taught 5th grade for 3 years, and it has absolutely been the best experience! We expect the best of our students because we know they can achieve it. My students come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, many of whom cannot afford a computer at home. As the writing teacher, I am teaching my students to gather information from various sources to support their writing. Unfortunately, my students are limited in the use of the computers we currently have, therefore are not learning how to use technology that will make them successful students and adults. I know if we were to receive the chromebooks, it would give them a chance to take their writing to the next level!
