The students in my classroom perform below grade level in all academic areas. In particular, they struggle with their reading and comprehension skills. In addition, my students have great difficulty staying focused on academic tasks for long periods of time. The addition of a classroom listening center will give my students the opportunity to strengthen their basic reading and comprehension skills. It will also give them the independence & flexibility of working at their own pace. This listening center will definitely help support & bridge the literacy gap. I know my students will enjoy seeing and hearing the numerous fiction & non-fiction stories come to life with the touch of a button!

About my class
