Hello! Thank you for considering funding my project! I have been teaching for over 20 years. It has proven to be a very challenging career choice. I received my undergraduate degree in education from the University of Michigan and my masters degree from Wayne State University. My first eight years were spent teaching for Detroit Public Schools before taking a teaching job with Center Line Public Schools. Center Line is a small city in the center of Warren, Michigan. In general, the population here is diverse with a low income level. Many children come from supportive families, while others do not. This photo was taken the day before the exciting and incredulous U of M vs. MSU football game. It shows me with three of my students who are fellow U of M fans.
