My students are in 7th and 8th grade and span a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. They are lovers of learning, and especially love anything SCIENCE that they can touch, see, taste, hear, or smell. Our school is a Title I school with 100% free breakfast and lunch for students. Our school is a Leader in Me school in the process of becoming a Lighthouse School in which becoming leaders is the top priority for students. At our school, we recognize that everyone has genius and that we can all be leaders of something. Our students recognize the greatness in themselves and others and are on the road to becoming leaders of their communities and overall wonderful human beings.
