My students are growing leaps and bounds using our new curriculum that is based off of the Science of Reading! We are learning phonics in an exciting and new way! They are excited and learning to read fluently. They are blending sounds, learning to decode words, and learning new sight words at an amazing rate. It is truly an amazing thing to watch! Building confidence in these skills is my number one priority. Due to Covid, distance learning, and teaching being done through Zoom meetings; many of them are very behind academically. I am hoping for all of these requested materials to help us achieve mastery of all of the skills. Thank you for any help towards creating a love of reading and building confidence in my classroom.
