My students are fantastic. They are so excited for each new adventure we take on as well as any new task I put before them. They are like sponges and want to take in as much as they can. They love to work as a group and figure things out. I love to lead them to understanding a concept and then witness their expression when they realize they understand. My children love technology and there is no county funding to individually provide what is needed for our children. A great deal of what we have is donated or purchased by fundraisers. Our school is a caring place where we make each child feel loved, safe, and successful. We are considered a high poverty, low-income school. A majority of our children are on free or reduced-price lunch. Our entire school is offered the free universal breakfast.
