Reading has become the forefront for education. History, sadly is being pushed to the side, and forgotten. But if we do not learn from our past, we will be doomed to repeat it! I want my students to understand what it took to found this great country we live in. I want them to immerse themselves in the culture of the past, to delve deeper than they have ever gone before! This classroom set of books is just one way for this to happen. They will be able to take this new book, and do a side by side comparison of their classroom text book! It teaches them to look to more than one source for your answers, it teachers them to compare and contrast the facts about the world they live in.
