My classroom is a Resource Room serving Special Education students ranging from Preschool through 8th grade in a small rural community. I work with students with a variety of special needs and disabilities. Some students only need a little support in areas such as reading, writing or mathematics. Other students spend a larger portion of their day in the resource room learning skills at their pace and level. Several students have communication needs that required alternative forms of communication.
