My students will have more opportunities to read. They will be able to read interesting topics and increase their reading comprehension in class. These books will help them to develop extension projects based on story lines and characters. Last year, my students enjoyed reading chapters then creating their own stories and creations from the basic ideas. I want multiple avenues for the students to broaden their ideas and help them develop their own creative projects. One of the best ways is to read interesting stories that help them understand storyline, author's purpose and character development. Students at this age and at this reading level need to have good examples of interesting stories.
