Welcome and THANK YOU for visiting Room A-5's page! We have a magical classroom of 2nd-4th grade students. We are a close community of learners and WE LOVE SCHOOL! Every day is an exciting experience for children AND adults as we learn new ways to communicate, learn, and create a more just learning space for neurodiverse students! I've been fortunate enough to be working in special education since I was 16 (over 20 years)!! After teaching in my hometown of Philly... my journey brought me to New Orleans which I have happily called home for 7 years now.
