I have an energetic class, full of character, that loves to read and engage in learning! They are a curious bunch, which leads to interesting and engaging conversations. My students crave more information, which is why I started this project, I wanted to quench their thirst for knowledge and provide new ways to learn. The location of our school provides students with the opportunity to discover the world around them. With a well-rounded, place-based curriculum, students become stewards of their environment and community. At the heart of our school, you will find amazing families, who dedicate time and resources to help our students and school succeed. This is not just a school, it is a community. Families, volunteers and staff work very hard to provide the best for our students. However, funding sometimes limits the resources needed to help our students excel.
