Sharing a class set of Chromebooks with 4 other core content teachers is difficult. There are many times when the students have to take a day or two break in the middle of a research or writing piece. It interrupts their learning. It would be so nice to have a set in the classroom that students could use whenever they needed. My students are currently preparing to write blogs, which will require research, drafting, and sharing. Teachers can only reserve Chromebooks for three consecutive days, so the students will have a break in the middle of the process. Having Chromebooks in the classroom would allow students to complete the blogging process. Many students read electronically. If there were Chromebooks available in the classroom, they would be able to choose that option any time.
