Welcome to Ms. Adams' integrated preschool classroom! Our class is comprised of students with communication, social, adaptive, physical, and cognitive delays along with their typically developing peers, whom act as language and behavior models in the classroom. This is a language-based, state mandated preschool program in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona. We are located at a Title 1 school, where many of the students on campus are receiving free or reduced lunch. Teaching in the integrated preschool program means implementing lots of hands-on activities and differentiating instruction for children ages 2-5, all of which have hit different developmental milestones. Classroom lesson plans are created using the Arizona Early Learning Standards and Teaching Strategies GOLD's 38 developmental objectives. We love learning in room 21 at Gilbert Elementary School! "A Person's a person, no matter how small." -Dr. Seuss
