Let's face it. Students are required to do a lot of sitting in school. Some students can handle the demand better than others. In 2003, a study was published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy concluding that in students with ADHD, sitting on therapy balls improved behavior and legible word productivity. Students using ball chairs were able to sit still, focus, and write more words clearly. All kids can benefit from an increase in focus given the opportunity for movement. These three balance ball chairs can be used during Math class by many different students because they mainly work in centers and visit different parts of the class to engage in activities.
