The use of these Android tablets in class is truly limitless. For reading, there's a seemingly endless pool of applications and resources which would be tapped in to engage and develop students as lifelong readers. The same impact can be had for science (I teach both of these subjects as well). In writing, which is my focal point, the possibilities are endless. Applications and websites may serve as resources, but what drives this project the most is the ability to significantly amplify student sensory experiences. This will allows students to see, hear, touch, feel, and taste the world in ways they couldn't have imagined before. Students in my classroom promise to paint the world with words, before they may accept a writing journal. Please help them develop the colors they need.
