In my Ceramics classes, I have students from 9th-12th grade, from every academic level, from AP students to special needs students. This gives students a chance to make friends, mentor each other in ways that they wouldn't otherwise. My classes usually have about 35 students in each course. Our school has about 1500 students and it is a diverse mix, both economically and racially and there is a growing unity among our students though. I love working with such a diverse group of kids. They keep it real.
