These resources will be a vital tool in helping the students in my reading groups who are struggling with their Nevada reading foundations standards. These students are the students who have been impacted most by COVID gaps of learning. They will be working on applying phonics skills to encourage fluent reading and comprehension of texts. As a reading specialist, I am utilizing science of reading strategies to ensure students have mastered phonics patterns that will allow them to access text. The students in my groups have the highest needs post-COVID.
