Hi my name is Jessica Griffin. I am a special education teacher at Roadrunner School in Phoenix, Arizona. I teach students with Emotional and Behavioral disabilities. They are primarily in kindergarten and first grade. The students that we work with have special needs and require different types of support which include academic, social/emotional, behavioral and life skills. One of the calming strategies that I use in my classroom is daily yoga. It helps the kids calm their bodies and minds and get ready to learn for the day. We are in need of some yoga and sensory supplies to help support our students in their daily learning.
