With technology quickly becoming the way of the world, it is imperative that we incorporate such devices in everyday learning. Having Chromebooks readily available for my students will give them easier access to information and tools they need to be successful in a seventh-grade English Language Arts classroom. In order for my middle school students to use a Chromebook for research, educational games, or testing I have to reserve one of three chrome carts, or schedule time in a computer lab that serves both the middle and high school. My class sizes average twenty students per class; four Chromebooks will allow them to work in groups of 5, at least until I can obtain enough devices for a one-to-one scenario.
