This year I am teaching students in the gifted program. These kids keep me on my feet and remind me that every student learns differently. I have students who are extremely strong in mathematics but have difficulty in reading. Some students are reading on high school levels, yet are only in fourth grade. I come to work every day because of them. My students challenge me and make me want to be the best teacher I can possibly be. My school has an upbeat and motivating feel about it. I truly believe that the students feel safe and enjoy the school environment. We, as a staff, try to keep the kids engaged, instill character education skills, and work as a team for the best school environment.
