I teach in an inner-city school where we must meet a lot of student needs besides education. Most do not have access to educational resources outside of the classroom. Any resources that I can bring in help improve their ability to overcome their challenges and succeed. My students realize they have challenges ahead of them that most others do not face but they do not let this stop them. Though their background and lives may not be conducive to their dreams, this doesn't stop them from reaching for them.

About my class
